Georgia Chavent

I am leaving a gift in my will to the University of New Haven's nutrition and dietetics program because the University has had the greatest impact on my career as an educator. It has provided me the opportunity to work with so many wonderful students from different walks of life and backgrounds, and to help develop two accredited programs.

In the newly accredited dietetic internship program, several of our graduates serve as professional mentors to our students, as well as being leaders at the state level. I am proud of our program and the accomplishments of our graduates.

My bequest is intended to benefit as many students as possible each year, bringing in guest speakers and providing students with professional development opportunities.
